Still Alone is a a small walking simulator I made in the autumn of 2017 with the Bitsy Game Maker, taking advantage of the engine's pixelated 8-bit style. It's an interactive vignette about love, work, and priorities in life. Initially meant as a derivative of Escape From Cnossus, it ended up being something else entirely, though it still reuses many of the same tiles, while improving on the original aesthetics.

The game earned me really nice words initially, but was soon forgotten. A few months later I came up with a piece of tile art based on it called Lonely Palace, that became a lot more popular.
