Can I have a tag made of multiple words in Clinklog?

Yes, you can. Just make sure to quote it according to the rules of your command line shell. E.g. clinklog post --tag one two "three and four".

New week, new feature. Clinklog 1.2 adds the option to set a logo for your blog. To keep things simple, you'll have to size it from CSS.

Web of Games

Just two weeks into the development of Clinklog, there is already a third site powered by it, this time also one of mine, and intended strictly as a link blog. A good way to ensure the software works for that particular use case. And hey, goes to show how much I needed to code this thing.

Figures that just after bragging about the lack of bugs I'd find one more, related to timezones. Oh well, I took the opportunity to add markup for the h-entry microformat; hopefully that will help clinklogs index better. Head to the download page to grab the latest release.

Answer: Um, you don't? That's kind of the whole point. Clinklog is designed for short one-paragraph posts. There are tons of alternatives out there for long-form blogging. Let this one be different.

Beta status dropped

As no more bugs cropped up for the past few days, with the 1.1 point release (which adds a new option to export), Clinklog is no longer in beta. Go me.

New download

As of this writing, Clinklog now comes in a proper package, including a copy of the manual and whatnot. No more bugs were found in the mean time.

Mushpark.com tests Clinklog

As of this writing, Clinklog has a brand-new, 1300-word manual, for now only available online. Command-line version to come once proper packaging is set up.

The second beta release fixes a number of bugs: deleting multiple items at once now works; tags should now be deleted with their respective items; error messages are printed correctly again (thanks, Kevin). Unless more are found, the manual should take priority.

Another day, another update. Clinklog now supports a navigation menu you can use to point at static pages or other website sections. A number of bugs were also fixed.
