Well this looks hood. Just how customiseable is it. Why not include a bad language filter?
Mikey on 2008-11-03 14:27:25
Because bad language filters don't really work. Re: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/001176.html

Hi Felix -

I'm currently transferring 50,000 Free Wallpapers to MoonMoth. It has around 1,600 pages, and after trying several mySQL-based CMS options, I found that your CMS was the easiest to meet my needs. All of my old site was in html, so it is very easy to add the pages to MoonMoth - a lot quicker than having to re-enter the content into a database.

Just one question: Is there any way of showing the menu for the level immediately above the page a visitor is on? I have quite a few levels (such as celebs - first letter - name - content), and it would make navigation easier if visitors could just go to the page above instead of Home and back down through the menu.

Apart from that one missing feature which I hope you can implement, I think MoonMoth is great. I've only got a couple of dozen pages online so far, but I will be working over the next few days to get all of my HTML pages into the right subdirectories.

Cheers,

Sea Eagle

Hey Felix, my main goal was to throw a WetBlanket on the heat over at WikiIndex. Hopefully we will all learn from this, myself included.

Best, Mark

I just came across your site and work the other day. I downloaded FCP Commentor, as I was looking for a good and simple comment script. I am a newbie designer and I have been designing straight HTML sites, using PHP scripts for extra features. I am currently looking at CMS programs, but I'm not completely convinced that the effort of switching over is worth the work if I'm doing sites that have less than 10 to 15 pages.

I have been trying out many of the flat file CMS for ease of use and potential ease of rescue. I like LightNEasy CMS and Razor CMS. I loved the late, great Pecio CMS. I also have tried LotusCMS, Get Simple CMS and Pluck.

First, I have to say that the FCP commentor is very nice and flexible. I'm trying some CSS experiments to see what it can do for me. Most important, I was surprised and a little intimidated by the description of FCP Website. But, it is awesome. Pretty much everything that I have thrown at it thus far it has managed. Wow. I'll have to do some more tests, but I like it very much so far.

Are there others who are using it? Do you mind answering a question or two at a later date if I need to as?

Thanks.

Homer
